All letters must stipulate your name, surname, postal address, contact no, email address and have the reference of the project on.

Suggestions on the contents of your objection – see attached pointers regarding your objections. Please ensure you keep a copy of your objection sent through to R.E.C.

Your comments and objections must be factual – not based on emotion. Where you can back up your objections with facts and/or supporting documentation, please do so.

For example, if you registered as an I&AP, but your registration or comments are not listed in the document, please find record of your registration (actual documents) together with date, times and other factually relevant proof and resubmit it to R.E.C. so that you can be added to the list for future communications.

If objecting to the way the public participation meeting was announced/held, please be specific in your comments – do not just write it off as being “a joke”. Explain your reasons for judgement clearly (eg: not enough space in the room for all participants, unable to hear due to lack of AV equipment, etc).

You are fully within your rights to:

· Request further information for any point in the draft scoping report that you do not understand or find insufficient in explanation.

· Insist on answers to your questions if you have not yet received adequate ones.

· Query further details of any activities that have occurred to date (eg: when and how the specialist reports were done; when or how those directly affected by the road were informed (eg Clay Oven settlement; etc).

· Suggest additional ideas or solutions to solve the problems that this road aims to tackle (traffic alleviation) including alternatives.

· Suggest and/or request that certain aspects of construction, and post-road development, are considered to mitigate any environmental or social concerns.

FoR is preparing its own objection report which will include all the objections submitted as well as the petitions received over the past few months - the flyer is on our website and it is not too late to join FoR!

Thank you for considering the impacts short/medium/long term that the K60 road will have on the suburbs you live in and be proactive!

Kind regards,

The FoR Team
